About this Accounts & Finance Executive Role:
We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Executive to join our finance team. This role will be crucial in handling day-to-day financial operations, with responsibilities including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain an accurate record of company financial transactions.
- Update and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers.
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
- Communicate with clients on payment updates.
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accounts executive or relevant role.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Awareness of business trends.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Accreditation such as CFA/CPA/ACCA or similar will be a plus.
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
