About this Business Development Manager Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead our business development efforts to drive growth and profitability. This role is pivotal in formulating strategic business plans and overseeing their execution to expand our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic directions.
- Manage and train the business development team to achieve business goals.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Analyze client feedback and market trends to develop new business initiatives and strategies.
- Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
