Web Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Design and build the website’s visual imagery and ensure it’s in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client.
• Test the website and identify any technical problems.
• Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines.
• Develop skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages including HTML, JavaScript, and others.
• Design sample page layouts including typography and colour scheme.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in web design or multimedia programming and technology.
• BSc in Design, Arts & Media, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• Creativity and imagination.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
